Fresh Ingredients, Many, Many Styles, Expertly Prepared and Always Served with a Smile
Our Club Fiji’s chefs and food preparation team are specialized in preparing a wide variety of meals. While taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean or our evening entertainment you can also experience a taste of Mexico, Thailand, Mongolia, India, and of course, traditional Fiji. Upon request, a traditional Fijian lovo can be prepared as well. Lovo is a Fijian meal whereby meat and root crops are spiced with native herbs, wrapped in banana leaves, and cooked in red hot stones in a pit.

Club Fiji’s Fijian Food Fare
If you would like to taste one of our delicious Fijian meals, you may wish to try our Ika Vakalolo. It is prepared from a fresh sea catch and cooked in lolo… the juice derived from coconut flesh. It is served with fried cassava or potatoes and vegetables or salad. With Ika Vakalolo, you must also try some palusami. This is another Fijian dish that is prepared using tomatoes, onion, and herbs and then wrapped in taro leaves and steamed in fresh lolo.
Another popular choice is the grilled Walu steak. Walu, Fiji’s Spanish mackerel, is freshly cut into thick fish steaks and served with a lemon butter sauce, cassava, and vegetable or salad.
Club Fiji’s Indo-Fijian Specialty Dishes
If you would like to try something with an Indian taste, then our chefs prepare delicious Indian curries. Local Fiji style Indian curry is expertly cooked with merthi, cumin, masala, and other local spices with rice or roti (Indian bread), dhal soup and assorted condiments. You should know, Fiji Indian food has a distinct flavor when compared to traditional Indian food and many prefer it because of the local spices that are added for enhanced flavor.
