Jana Cecil came to Fiji as a stopover as she was on her way to Australia. She stayed at Club Fiji Resort for 9 days and it was her first time in Fiji as well. Here are some of the things she had to say.
“This is the first time I have been in Fiji and I love it already. I also love the atmosphere around the resort as it is so quiet and calm. The service and the staff are both great in their own way. I come from a place where it’s warm and tropical and everything is beautiful and I must say that Fiji is just as same as Hawaii, tropical and beautiful. I really love this place. I had gone on the snorkeling trip with a few other guests from the resort and I must say the water was really beautiful and magical and I also got to see a purple jellyfish!”
“I have been surfing for over a year and Hawaii was the place where I learnt it all. Surfing is good, a bit dangerous but it is a fun sport for me. I had surfed a lot in Perth. Fiji has calm and great waters for surfing as I heard from people around. I hope that one day I will come back to Fiji to surf. Surfing is not my profession, it is like a sport. I’m a business owner. After Fiji, I would be heading off to Sydney and Perth in Australia.”
“I will surely come back again if I get an opportunity. Thank you very much.”

I was sitting down on the beach chair when my eye caught two little girls probably aged 7 and 8 years old running around in their beautiful black island dresses. There they were enjoying the hammock on which one lay on it and the other pushed, vice versa. Not very far away was their mum keeping an eye on them but also relaxing on the beach chair. By the looks of things, I could say that they had just checked in here at Club Fiji Resort.
Mr. and Mrs. Hewitt and their two gorgeous daughters came to Club Fiji Resort for three (3) days after their surfing trip up at the Tavarua, the Cloud break (one of the best and world class surfing turf in Fiji) and the other places. They found out about the resort from one of their friends who reside in Fiji. Basically their trip to Fiji was a surfing holiday. “I’d say that it is great that Fiji has lifted the ban on the surfing in Fiji on these great waves. I mean surfers from Australia are crazy about the Cloud Break and the other surf waves that are in Fiji. That is the best part of Fiji. We had a great time at the surf breaks. We even got the opportunity to see Kell Slater surfing there as well”.
This is the third time that they had been in Fiji and they love this place. The weather is so nice and everything just falls in its place itself. Before Fiji they were up in Samoa. Yet they knew that when they came to Fiji Islands they will just feel like they are at home. “Everybody is just so welcoming in Fiji and as well at the resort”.
“We really love Club Fiji Resort; the layout of the whole place is so nice and neat. The kids love it. There is a lot of space around here so we don’t have to worry about the girls disturbing other people or them going towards the road or anything like that. I personally like the thatched bures as beach umbrellas; they look so nice and appealing. The most unique thing I saw was the movie bures that were outside the restaurant. I mean even though it was outside, it’s a great idea where the kids can just sit and enjoy their favorite movie while we rested”.
All that surfing sure made Will tired and so he got a beach massage here at the resort and Kate had pampered herself with a lovely pedicure. The girls got to watch a movie everyday of their stay and we can say that they all enjoyed their stay here at Club Fiji Resort. “We will surely come around Club Fiji Resort again when we have our next surf vacation”.

Fiji surfing has some remarkable waves, however most are not shore accessible. Club Fiji will soon be back with some incredible options for all you tube riders.
